Ladybugs in Children's Books

Though there are actually quite a few ladybug childrens books, we wanted to focus this section on showing on how ladybugs frequently make cameos in books about other characters. Some of these books are classics and others still are simple childrens books that you might easily find at your local book store. It's amazing how often ladybugs are accomanying our favorite characters in a good children's book.

Peek-a-Boo in the Berry Patch

A sweet short story about Baby Strawberry Shortcake playing peek-a-boo with her friends. This book uses simple sentences making it easy for young children to understand and is great for children who are learning to read.

Tinkerbell invents a contraption to help one of her animal fairy friends while babysitting her frogs. Ladybugs make many appearances in Tinkerbell's new adventures both in her new movie as well as games and books.

This book was distributed by the Starbucks company. It is about the friendship of a ladybug and a turtle. It's pretty hard to find unfortunately but it's definitely worth having for your kids.
