Have you ever noticed that ladybugs are everywhere; well depictions of them anyway? They are such a popular little creature but often get missed because of their small stature. Well, maybe not missed, but perhaps taken for granted.
Next time you are at a store, look a little more closely at everything, I bet you will see a lot more ladybugs if you are actually looking out for them!
Since we've become ladybug fanatics we see ladybugs everywhere! We see them on clothes, children's dishware, in books, on figures, everywhere! It's kind of like when you or someone you know gets a new car and suddenly you see that make of car all over the place!
There are several items in our house that have ladybugs on them and I never really noticed they were there. Now since my girls have made me crazy about ladybugs I'm shocked at how many ladybug items I actually have, they may not be the main attraction on these particular things but somewhere down in the corner or behind something there's a tiny little lady just sitting there looking cute.
A Ladybug On Our Soap
Here's a funny example. We've had this curious little soap bar sitting in our house for years. We can't remember who gave it to us, but it is one of those items we held onto. It ended up in a drawer in the bathroom and it keeps the drawer smelling nice.
I am sure by now you can't help but notices one of our little spotted Ladybug friends crawling along the side of the dog soap. None of us really noticed it before, but now that we see red and spots everywhere, we couldn't help but notice it.
A Ladybug Hiding On My Apple
This is a really cool story. This was little tiny ladybug hiding on this fruit label was a cool find. Now if you are familiar with the logo, then you may not think too much of it. But I was pleasantly surprised to find this little guy on the side of an apple I was eating.
I did a little quick web research and found that the company Stemilt is a organic producer of quality fruit that uses a variety of methods to obtain their certified organic status. They are family owned and operated and really take pride in what they do and it shows.
Their site has a whole section on their organic process and goes into great detail about the type of healthy processes they use and even makes mention of using beneficial insects to control pests as opposed to pesticides. Who could these beneficial insects be, well their logo speaks volumes. All this great info finding out where my apple came from because of this cool little ladybug label.
In this section we've decided to create archive of all the different places we have seen ladybugs making their cameos and appearances in our everyday lives. I encourage you to keep on the look out around your home. You may have a ladybug hiding on some items or better yet live ladybugs in your yard!
